A couple of upcoming LG smartphones were just given the benchmark treatment and are now listed on the GLBenchmark database. Known as the LG P715 and LG E455, both devices are most likely the newest members of the Optimus L series of Android handsets.

LG L-Series

Without a doubt, the P715 is the more exciting among the two as it is probably the rumored LG Optimus L7 II powered by Android 4.1.2. It comes with a Dual-Core processor running at 1GHz, and the presence of Adreno 203 graphics indicates that the chip in use belongs to the Snapdragon S4 Play tier. Thanks to previous leaks, we also know that the LG Optimus L7 II will sport a WVGA display of 4.3 inches made using IPS LCD technology. The camera on its back will be of 8 megapixels and a beefy, 2460mAh battery will keep it going through the day. As, we saw our Previous Post we are not sure that whether P715 is L7 II Dual Version or the Normal L7 II. We hope to get the Answer at MWC 2013 on 25th Feb.

The E455, on the other hand, is a relatively modest smartphone running Android 4.1.2, and LG Optimus L5 II is most likely how it will be called once it is official. The SoC in use is a MediaTek MT6575 with a single core clocked at 1GHz and PowerVR SGX 531 graphics. We don't yet know how big its screen will be, but its resolution of 800 by 480 pixels has been revealed by the data contained in the benchmark results. Again, a dual-SIM variant of the LG Optimus L5 II is expected to be available in select markets. Android 4.1.2 will come loaded on the device out of the box.
