Each year we see one Nexus device from Google and there's no reason for us not to expect it to happen again in 2013. Google has already appointed many manufactures to make the Nexus Smartphone/Tablet, So, the big question is that who will make the next Nexus 5 or whatever it will be called at the end.

Google Nexus 4

Till now, HTC, Samsung (twice) and LG were appointed by Google to manufacture the hardware of Google's Nexus device and this time LG could be again chosen by Google to make the next nexus smartphone, at least that’s what The Korea Times reports.

It is not the first time that we are hearing about LG’s involvement in the Nexus 4 successor but each new report further confirms the fact that we might actually see next Nexus phone from LG.

According to Korean Times, Google CEO Larry Page met LG Electronic CEO Koo Bon-joon during his recent trip to South Korea and both executives discussed on varied range of topics including taking the partnership between the firms to a next level by working on OLED televisions and even projects like Google Glass.

Some important words from Korean Times are added below,

Currently, the consumer electronics arm of LG Group is working with Internet-giant Google to make another Nexus-branded Google Android smartphone. LG is seeking to expand its partnership in TVs and future businesses, such as Google Glass.
"LG needs help from Google to continue its business momentum in smartphones and TVs. That's why Koo met Page," said the sources.

The report didn't included anything about Nexus 5, but keeping in mind the popularity of Nexus 4, it can be understood that Google might again appoint LG to make the next Nexus Smartphone.
