Today is that day every Nexus owner has been waiting for since June 2014, after Google unveiled the next iteration of Android. Google has officially announced that it has started rolling out the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop update for most Nexus devices. The devices which are currently running on KitKat will be updated to Lollipop and the newly launched Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 gets a small bug fix update.

Google has started rolling out a new updated version of Android 4.4.4 KitKat for Nexus 5 today. Called as Android 4.4.4 KitKat Release 2, the update is limited to a few countries of the world, which include India, New Zealand and Australia. The update is rolling out over-the-air and brings minor changes. In Australia the update is released on Telsta and in New Zealand on 2Degrees only.

Last month we came across a new information which suggested that Google and HTC have teamed up to announce the launch of the next Nexus tablet this year codenamed HTC Volantis. Now, in a promotional image meant to show off the Android L platform that will arrive this fall, Google seems to have used the unannounced HTC Nexus 9 render.

Earlier this week, U.S. carrier Sprint announced on its support page that it will push the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update with the build number KTU84F to the Nexus 5 units. Suddenly, the update has vanished from the carrier’s support page leaving the Nexus 5 users confused about the update that was claimed to be rolled out between April 14th and April 21st.

Leading U.S. carrier Sprint has announced the roll out of the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update for the Nexus 5 handsets starting from April 14. After the update, the handsets will be running on the KTU84F build that is a minor upgrade adding support to LTE bands 26 and 41 to the Nexus 5 along with some bug fixes and improvements.

Google's Nexus 5 is probably the best Android device on sale currently and the same has now witnessed a bug. The developers of Android have been tipped about a bug in the software which usually leads to a high CPU usage during the use of the device's camera. A developer, further contributing to the discussion stated that Google is aware of the same and has the fix ready for the same.

After getting leaked online thrice, the Google Nexus 5 is now officially available in Bright Red colour from Google Play Devices store in India. The new colour costs the same as the black and white versions — Rs. 28,999 ($349) for 16GB, rising to Rs. 32,999 ($399) for 32GB. The new colour Nexus 5 is in stock and is set to ship in the next 1-2 business days.

Google Nexus 5 is no doubt the best smartphone money can buy today. The smartphone was originally announced back in October 2013 in two usual colours, Black and White with Panda combination. This is the first time, Google is moving a step forward and is all set to launch a new colour for the Nexus 5, which is Red. Prolific leaker @evleaks has leaked the first press image of the handset wrapped in red colour.

Last week, we saw the first alleged image of Nexus 5 wrapped in Red colour from Vietnam. Today, a Twitter user artyomstar has shared images of whole batch of red-flavoured Nexus 5 retail boxes. The images are legit, as we can see the official markings, IMEIs, serial numbers and almost everything.

Yesterday we showed you some images and a video showing new colours for the Nexus 5 getting ready to soon be published on the Google Play Store, which later on were labeled as being fake. And now, a new Nexus 5 model has posed in front of the camera somewhere in Vietnam. The model was wrapped in red colour, rather than in black or white, which reveals that Google is indeed going to launch new colour/s for the Nexus 5.

Google launched the Nexus 5 last year in October in only two colours, black and white. If PhoneArena's tipster is believed to be true, then Google will soon announce 6 new colours for the smartphone. The tipster sent PhoneArena a video of a revamped Google Play Store that clearly shows new Nexus 5 colours, eight in total. The site has also posted individual pictures of the new colours for the Nexus 5, which we can somewhat confirm are fake.

Google's Nexus 5 is without doubt one of the best smartphone money can buy. Still there are some issues which are clearly visible on Nexus 5. The initial stocks of Nexus 5 comes with smaller speaker and microphone holes and rattling buttons, which LG and Google has addressed, and has started shipping the updated Nexus 5, which features larger speaker & microphone holes and fixed buttons.

Few days ago Google rolled out Android 4.4.1 update for Nexus devices, and today, the search giant has started rolling out Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for the Nexus devices. The update is rolling out via over-the-air for all the Nexus devices, and includes bug fixes.

Update 2: The Nexus 10 Android 4.4.1 KitKat update file is now available for download. The update weights about 51.3MB in size.
Update: The Android 4.4.1 KitKat update file for WiFi only version of Nexus 7 (2013) is now available for download. The update weights the same as Nexus 7 (2013) LTE update, which is 52.8MB.

Last night we reported that, Google is testing the first update for its latest Android version, KitKat, and today David Burke, Google's Director of Engineering for Android has told The Verge in an interview that Android 4.4.1 update is indeed coming soon and brings major fixes for Nexus 5's camera. The update took Burge and his team 5 weeks to complete.

Google launched the Nexus 5 on Play Store recently, and now LG has officially announced that, Nexus 5 will be also available for purchase from LG Stores and other major retailer. The 16GB Nexus 5 will be available for Rs. 29,999, whereas the 32GB version will cost Rs. 33,999, which is Rs. 1,000 more than Google Play price.

After getting listed online, Google has officially launched the much-awaited Nexus 5 in India. The day Nexus 5 was announced, Google listed it on Indian Play Store with its pricing and coming soon tag. The smartphone is now officially available from Google Play for purchase (links below). The 16GB version of Nexus 5 cost Rs. 28,999, whereas the 32GB version cost Rs. 32,999. Both black and white colour variant included.

Update: Great news, according to Zauba records, more than 11,000 units of Nexus 5 smartphone are already shipped in India. Total of 11,050 units of Nexus 5 are already in India up to 13th November. In which, 6150 units are of Black 16GB version, 1500 of White 16GB, 1700 of Black 32GB and 1650 of White 32GB.
While the shipments are already done, we are yet to hear any official news from Google regarding the India launch.

Google Nexus 5 is yet to get launched in India, and the smartphone has now appeared on online retailer Flipkart for sale. A third-party seller is selling the Nexus 5 on Flipkart for Rs. 30,999 (16GB variant), which is Rs. 2,000 more than the official price. The retailer notes to deliver the smartphone in 13-14 business days. This online listing confirms that Google is in-deed going to launch the Nexus 5 in India as early as possible.
