Without doubt Samsung Galaxy S4 is one of the best Android Smartphone till date. It is the fastest Smartphone having a Octa-Core Processor. Samsung has also revamped its TouchWiz User Interface to give users a Nature like feel.

Samsung has also added many new features like, Smart Scroll, Smart Pause, Air Gesture and lots more on Galaxy S4. Due to these features, the memory space available to users in a 16 gig model is only 8 gig. The most popular 16GB model comes out with only 8GB of free storage space.

After the issue was complained to Samsung, they replied saying that, users complaints are worthless and they should just go and get an expansion microSD card.

Samsung gave more space to the system partition, where the operating system is installed, and reduced space on the data partition instead. The funny thing is that the system partition is almost full, so it will be interesting to see how Samsung pulls this one out.

Later on, when the issue came on BBC's WatchDog, Samsung took a 180 turn on the issue. Now the company has changed its mind about the problem with less than expected user available memory.

“We appreciate this issue being raised and we will improve our communications,” a Samsung spokesperson told CNET UK. “Also, we are reviewing the possibility to secure more memory space through further software optimisation.

“Samsung is committed to listening to our customers and responding to their needs as part of our innovation process.”

Let's just hope that Samsung throw a new Software update of Galaxy S4 soon where we expect to see some increase in storage.
