Exclusive: Micromax Canvas 4 A210 Official Image Leaked, with New Teaser (Update-2)

While everyone must be eagerly waiting for Micromax Canvas 4 to arrive in India, we have surfaced some exclusive official images of the smartphone. The smartphone is not yet announced, but will be up for pre-order from tomorrow onwards on Micromax Official E-Store. Micromax has been promoting Canvas 4 from a long time. The smartphone teasers were already up ON AIR during ICC Champion's Trophy

Earlier: Micromax has added a Login section on their official online store for providing the order details to the users who will pre-ordered Micromax Canvas 4 A210 tomorrow. In addition, Micromax has removed the Rs. 5000 Tag from the Server logs and added Rs. 1 tag beside the Canvas 4 A210 Order.


Update: Some of the users are reporting that, Micromax will start the pre-order of Canvas 4 A210 from 12PM onwards, and the buyer has to pay Rs. 5,000 first as a pre-booking money and the rest of the payment will be done later on, as we stated below. 


Last week, the company posted one teaser of Canvas 4 on their facebook page, which was pointing towards a new way of unlocking the phone. Today, Micromax has teased one more image of Canvas 4 on their Twitter profile teasing the same "New Unlocking System."

The new teaser image which you can see above shows a unique way to unlock the Canvas 4 with the tweet indicating that the forthcoming device could be unlocked without touching. The photo too has the word "DON'T" with the iconic slide to iPhone unlock bar under it. It's difficult to comment on this so-called revolutionary unlocking method and we will have to wait till when Micromax finally unveils the device. But, according to the image, we can see some gesture or air blow unlock system coming soon.

Now coming to some Exclusive News, we the folks of TechDroid have found the official image of upcoming Micromax Canvas 4. The image which you can view above is very blurry, as the original image is very small (106x200). The smartphone will have A210 as its codename, which is damn Confirmed. If anyone has any issue regarding this image, then let us inform you that the image was found on official micromax website server.

The product code of Canvas 4 A210 is 80200415 and according to our leak, while pre-ordering the device, you have to pay a sum of Rs. 5,000 Online by using your Debit/Credit card and the rest of the payment details will be revealed to you on 8th July, 2013 on www.canvas-4.com. In addition, a username and password will be provided to you once the pre-order is completed, which will help you access you account details and summary of the order on www.canvas-4.com. The official canvas 4 site will be updated tomorrow after the Official Announcement takes place.

The smartphone is expected to be priced around Rs. 15,990 and might feature the following specs, 

5.5-inch or 5.0-inch Full HD 1920x1080p resolution display with 2GHz Quad-Core Cortex A7 Processor, PowerVR Series 5XT GPU and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Other specifications include, 2GB of RAM, 8GB internal memory, with expandable memory using microSD card, 13MP rear camera (CONFIRMED) with LED Flash and add-ons like autofocus, face and smile detection and image stabilization and a 3.2MP or 5MP front facing camera. The smartphone is also rumoured to come with whooping 3000mAh Battery, Dual-SIM card slot, 3G, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi & USB 2.0 Ports.

  1. If that is the actual pic of the phone then it looks like MMX have created their own skin like Touchwiz or HTC sense. If you look carefully all the home screen of MMX phones are Vanilla launcher just the way Google releases it, but in this the laucher looks quite different, on the similar lines of Samsung's launcher where the app drawer button is always located at the bottom right corner.
