Google announced Samsung Galaxy S4 Nexus Edition during Google I/O Keynote 2013. Later on, some reports were pointing towards the announcement of HTC One Nexus Edition. The reports were true after all, Android Boss Sundar Pichai has announced the nexus edition of HTC One at D11 Conference which took place on 30th May.
The device will join already announced Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition and will be compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile Bands with support for LTE. The device will available for order on Google Play from 26th June on-wards with price tag of $599, whereas Galaxy S4 Nexus Edition will go on for $649. HTC One Nexus Edition will only be available in the United States initially but it might be released in other markets later.
HTC One Nexus Edition will come with Stock Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Beats Audio Configuration, 32GB internal storage and Unlocked Bootloader. Rest of the specification are same as original HTC One - 4.7-inch Full HD Super IPS LCD 3 Display having 1080p resolution, 1.7GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 600 Processor, 2GB RAM, 4MP Ultrapixel Camera with 2.1MP front facing camera, 2300mAh Battery and Adreno 320 Graphics.
After the announcement of HTC One & Galaxy S4 Google Edition, now its time to introduce you all with new rumours of Sony Xperia Z Google Edition. According to Android Geeks, Google might be announcing the nexus edition of Sony Xperia Z later this year.
As usual, the device will be available on Google Play for around $599. The device will be running Stock Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and will come with 16GB internal memory and LTE support.
