Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Software Update for Sony Xperia ZL Rolling Out

After so many complains and mails, Sony has at last started rolling out the Software Update of Sony Xperia ZL. The software update carries new Android version with many new features. The Android version which will arrive after the update is Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, which is the latest Android OS till now. The update is currently rolling out in selected markets globally including India. The update is currently live in Europe, North America and India. Some reports are coming from Malaysia as well.

The update is currently available via PC Companion software, so make sure you have USB drivers and Sony PC Companion software installed on your PC or laptop, if not then try searching them on Sony Official Website. The update details are listed below -

• Android Version - Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean

The Official Change log can be found below. Also, according to Sony Xperia ARM (Armenian), Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for Xperia ZL will roll out from 24th June onwards and from 7th July, Xperia Z Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean will be rolled out.
