First hi-res images of Google Nexus 5 spotted at FCC, confirms wireless charging support and 2300mAh battery

After HTC One Max and Xperia Z1 Mini, Google's aka LG's Nexus 5 is on the top list of upcoming smartphones. The smartphone was first spotted in the Android 4.4 KitKat statue unveiling video, and then LG D820 and LG D821 came in existence. After some doubtful reports, first hi-res images of upcoming Nexus 5 has appeared on FCC.

After HTC One Max and Xperia Z1 Mini, Google's aka LG's Nexus 5 is on the top list of upcoming smartphones. The smartphone was first spotted in the Android 4.4 KitKat statue unveiling video, and then LG D820 and LG D821 came in existence. After some doubtful reports, first hi-res images of upcoming Nexus 5 has appeared on FCC.

The image does not actually reveals Nexus 5 name in it, but the back panel of the smartphone in the pictures is similar to the smartphone which was spotted in the KitKat statue unveiling video. The images, below and above, shows the front, sides and back of the phone, with some internal parts. These images again confirms the already confirmed wireless charging support, along with 2,300 mAh battery.

The device is found carrying LG D820 as it's model number, which clearly states that LG D820 is undoubtedly the next generation Nexus smartphone.

According to previous reports, the Google Nexus 5 is hinted to come with a 5-inch Full HD display (4.96-inch, to be exact), quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, Android 4.4 KitKat, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, LTE support and dual-band 802.11 b/g/n/ac.
