Sony confirmed to launch Xperia Z1 in India on 18th September, camera lovers be ready

While Samsung has confirmed that they are launching the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear in India on 17th September, Sony is also getting ready to do a blast by launching it's Sony Xperia Z1 in India the very next day, i.e., on 18th September in New Delhi. Sony has started sending out press invites to the Indian tech media for attending the event, and having the first hands-on of the device.

While Samsung has confirmed that it is launching it's all new Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear in India on 17th September, Sony is also getting ready to do a blast by launching it's Sony Xperia Z1 in India the very next day, i.e., on 18th September in New Delhi. Sony has started sending out press invites to the Indian tech media for attending the event, and having the first hands-on of the device.

Sony Xperia Z1 was originally announced this month at IFA 2013 in Berlin alongside Sony's first interchangeable lenses for Android and iOS devices. The company might also launch these interchangeable lenses dubbed as Cyber-shot DSC-QX10 and DSC-QX100 lens-style cameras at the same event.

The pricing and availability details are not yet disclosed, but more information is expected to get revealed in the event itself. The Xperia Z1 will be launched in India in three colour options, Black, White and Purple. The smartphone might get priced in India for around Rs. 50,000.

To remind you all, Sony Xperia Z1 comes with a 5.0-inch Full HD TFT Triluminos OptiContrast X-Reality for Mobiles display, 2.2GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 800 processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB RAM, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, and single aluminium frame with tempered glass on the front and back. Xperia Z1 comes with IP55/IP58 water and dust resistant certificate.

The smartphone also features, 10 fingers multi-touch support, 16GB internal storage with 64GB microSD card expansion, 3,000 mAh battery, and 1/2.3-inch 20.7MP Sony G lens Exmor RS rear sensor with 8x digital zoom, dedicated camera shutter key, LED flash and mobile BIONZ image processing system along with 2MP Exmor R front facing camera.
