Three month ago spotted HTC Butterfly S has appeared online for sale at two Indian online retailers – Saholic and Infibeam for Rs. 52,428 and Rs. 54,990 respectively. The smartphone was originally announced back in June and was spotted on HTC India website as "Coming Soon" in July. HTC Butterfly S is the upgraded version of original HTC Butterfly, which once upon a time was the most expensive Android smartphones in India.
There is no word on official launch of the smartphone, so it's better to wait for some more days before believing the prices. Saholic is selling both Black and White colour Butterfly S and are promising to ship the device from 13th September, whereas Infibeam has listed the smartphone as coming soon.
To remind you all, HTC Butterfly S features 5-inch Full HD 1080p resolution display, 1.9GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB RAM, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 5.0, 3,200 mAh battery, 16GB internal storage with microSD card support, 4MP Ultrapixel camera and 2.1MP front facing camera.
Desire 600c listed on Infibeam
In related, Infibeam has also listed HTC Desire 600c on their website for Rs. 30,890. According to Infibeam, the box price of Desire 600c is Rs. 33,900. HTC Desire 600c is the CDMA support variant of original Desire 600, which is currently available in India for Rs. 25,852.
HTC Desire 600c comes with an 4.5-inch qHD Super LCD 2 display, 1.2GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB RAM, dual SIM connectivity (GSM+CDMA) with dual active support, 8GB internal storage with 64GB microSD card support, 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 1.6MP front facing camera and 1,860 mAh Battery. It's not clear at this stage whether the phone is running Android 4.1.2 or Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box.
