4.7-inch Micromax Canvas Ego A113 now available in India for Rs. 12,999, quad-core processor, Android Jelly Bean and more

Micromax is going crazy. In the last two weeks, the company has listed five new smartphones on their website, first one is the successor of original Canvas Doodle, whereas the other three are of Canvas Fun series and the last one holds Micromax Bolt as it's name. Leaving Canvas Doodle 2 aside, all the other four smartphones are available in India for less than Rs. 8,000. Coming back to the news, another Micromax Canvas series smartphones is now available across India.

Dubbed as Micromax Canvas Ego A113, the smartphone is now available at online retailer Snapdeal and few brick and mortar retailers for Rs. 12,999. Micromax Canvas Ego comes with similar specifications as Canvas 2 Plus, but has a 4.7-inch display rather than 5-inch display, as seen on Canvas 2 Plus. In addition, the pricing of the smartphone is too high, all due to depreciation of rupee.

Micromax Canvas Ego comes with a 4.7-inch qHD display, 1.2GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 MSM8225Q processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 1GB RAM and dual SIM support. The smartphone also comes with 8MP rear camera with LED flash along with 2MP front facing camera, 4GB internal storage with 32GB expandable memory using microSD card and 2,00 mAh battery. Connectivity series on Canvas Ego includes, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 ans GPS/A-GPS.
