Samsung Galaxy S5 metal frame images leaked, points towards 5.3-inch display

Till now all the Galaxy S series smartphones featured plastic body, but the upcoming Galaxy S5 is rumoured to feature a metal body. Samsung Galaxy S5 is the fifth-generation Galaxy S series device, and is reported to get announced in January 2014. The rumour mill has just started churning out some interesting leaks on the device. This leak comes from France, which shows alleged images of metal frame for Samsung's next flagship smartphone, probably of Galaxy S5.

As per these images, the Samsung Galaxy S5 will have a larger screen than the Galaxy S4, assuming 5.3-inch. The frame measures 143.8x72.3mm, compared to 136.6x69.8mm for the Galaxy S4.

There are some chances that this isn't the frame of Galaxy S5, and could be of the unannounced premium Galaxy F series smartphone.

The frame shows the camera hole in the corner, but usually Samsung puts the camera on the center line of the back. Also, the 3.5mm headphone jack opening is at the button, while Samsung puts it on the top. Lastly, the USB port on the bottom of the frame doesn't look quite large for USB 3.0, which was found the Galaxy Note 3.

So, at this point, these pictures can't be verified, until we see Samsung logo stamped on it, and its better you take this news with a pinch of salt. But, as the leaks have just started churning, we will definitely here a lot more about Galaxy S5 in the coming days.
