XOLO Q1000 Opus with Broadcom BCM23550 Cortex-A7 processor and VideoCore IV GPU launching in India this month

XOLO has officially announced that, they will be launching a new smartphone in India before the end of this month. Dubbed as XOLO Q1000 Opus, the smartphone is the successor of XOLO Q1000 and will be the first XOLO smartphone to feature Broadcom chipset. The XOLO Q1000 Opus will come in only single-SIM variant and will feature HD display.

XOLO has officially announced that, they will be launching a new smartphone in India before the end of this month. Dubbed as XOLO Q1000 Opus, the smartphone is the successor of XOLO Q1000 and will be the first XOLO smartphone to feature Broadcom chipset. The XOLO Q1000 Opus will come in only single-SIM variant and will feature HD display.

The Broadcom chipset present inside the Q1000 Opus is clocked at 1.2GHz, which is the same found on already available Q1000. The difference is in the GPUs, the Broadcom chipset uses a VideoCore GPU, whereas the MediaTek chipset uses a PowerVR SGX544 GPU.

According to the press release issued by the company, the XOLO Q1000 Opus will feature a 5-inch HD display, 1.2 GHz Quad-core Broadcom BCM23550 Cortex-A7 processor, VideoCore IV GPU, HSPA+, Wi-Fi connectivity with Miracast for wireless TV-out, GPS/GLONASS, WLAN, MEMs and Cell ID.

The pricing and rest of the specifications are still a mystery, and would be revealed during the time of launch. XOLO Q1000 Opus smartphone will be available for purchase by end of November 2013.
