Gionee Elife E7 with 5.5-inch Full HD display, 16MP camera, Snapdragon 800 processor launching in India on 24th December

Gionee has started sending out press invites to the Indian tech press media for attending an event on December 24th. Gionee will be launching the Elife E7 in India on that day. Pricing and availability details are yet unknown, and would be revealed at the launch. Gionee announced the Elife E7 last month at an event in Shanghai, China.

The Elife E7 comes in wide range of colours, which include Black, White, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange and Red/Pink. It's unclear, whether Gionee will launch the LTE version of Elife E7 in India or not. 

On the specifications front, the Gionee Elife E7 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS OGS (One Glass Solution) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974AB processor, Adreno 330 GPU and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Amigo 2.0 UI on top.

The smartphone also comes with a 16MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash, 8MP front facing camera, 2,500 mAh battery, 3G support, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, WiFi Direct, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, DTS Audio, USB 2.0, OTG and NFC support.

The RAM of Elife E7 varies according to the internal memory, with the 16GB variant featuring a 2GB RAM and the 32GB variant featuring 3GB of RAM. Also, the Elife E7L (the LTE version) is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974AC processor, rest of the specifications are similar as 3G version.
