HTC Desire 501, Desire 601 and Desire 700 dual-SIM smartphones launched in India for Rs. 16,890, Rs. 24,190 and Rs. 33,050 respectively

As expected, HTC has officially launched three new Desire series smartphones in India. Dubbed as HTC Desire 501 dual-SIM, Desire 601 dual-SIM and Desire 700, the smartphones were originally introduced in Taiwan last month. According to HTC, all these three smartphones will be available for purchase in the coming days.

Starting with Desire 501, the smartphone comes in three colours, Pink, White and Blue and is priced at Rs. 16,890. The Desire 501 will be available in the coming days.

Specifications-wise, HTC Desire 501 comes with a 4.3-inch WVGA display, 1.15GHz dual-core NovaThor U8520 processor, 1GB RAM, Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and dual-SIM support with dual active feature.

The smartphone also comes with 8MP AF rear camera with LED flash and BSI sensor, 2.1MP front facing camera, 8GB internal storage with 32GB microSD card expansion and 2,100 mAh battery.

Coming to HTC Desire 601, the smartphone is the dual-SIM version of already announced Desire 601. HTC has priced Desire 601 dual-SIM in India at Rs. 24,190, and will be available beginning December 13th.

Specifications-wise, HTC Desire 601 dual-SIM comes with a 4.5-inch qHD display, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB RAM, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Sense 5.0 UI and dual micro-SIM card support with dual active feature.

Other specifications include, 5MP AF rear camera with LED flash, 0.3MP (VGA) front facing camera, 4GB internal storage with 64GB expandable using microSD card and 2,100 mAh battery. The smartphone also comes with dual front stereo speakers with built-in amplifier.


HTC Desire 700

Last but not the least is the HTC Desire 700 dual-SIM. The Desire 700 is a affordable version of the HTC One. The smartphone poses similar design like HTC One, but with all plastic body, rather than aluminium as in One.  The Desire 700 is priced at Rs. 33,050 and will be available in India around Christmas with 1 year of free insurance.

On the specification front, the Desire 700 comes with a 5-inch qHD display, 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum Shark processor, 1GB RAM and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with Sense 5.0 UI. The smartphone is 10.3mm thick and weighs 149 grams.

Other specifications include dual micro-SIM slot (3G+2G), 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 2.1MP front facing camera, 8GB internal storage with expandable up to 64GB using microSD card and 2,100 mAh battery. The smartphone also comes with dual front stereo speakers with built-in amplifier.
