Samsung Galaxy S4 Active LTE-A with Snapdragon 800 processor, 13MP camera now available in South Korea

Samsung launched the Snapdragon 800 powered Galaxy S4 with LTE-A support few month back, and recently, the company has launched the upgraded version of the rugged Galaxy S4. Korean Telecom Operator SK Telecom has silently released the Galaxy S4 Active LTE-A with Snapdragon 800 processor and LTE-A network (up to 150 Mbps).

Samsung launched the Snapdragon 800 powered Galaxy S4 with LTE-A support few month back, and recently, the company has launched the upgraded version of the rugged Galaxy S4. Korean Telecom Operator SK Telecom has silently released the Galaxy S4 Active LTE-A with Snapdragon 800 processor and LTE-A network (up to 150 Mbps).

The updated Galaxy S4 Active not only comes with faster processor and Adreno 330 GPU, but also sports an updated 13MP rear camera instead of 8MP one on the regular Galaxy S4 Active. The smartphone has also dropped few grams (147g) compared to original S4 Active, which weights 151g. 

Rest of the specifications of Snapdragon 800 powered Galaxy S4 Active are the same as those of the Snapdragon 600 version, which include 5-inch Full HD display, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, 2GB RAM, 2,600 mAh battery, 16GB internal storage with 64GB expandable using microSD card and 2MP front facing camera with IP67 certification.

There's no word on international availability of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active LTE-A.
