Micromax has launched a new smartphone in Russia recently. Dubbed as Micromax Canvas Tube A118R, the smartphone seems like a smaller version of Canvas Doodle 2. The smartphone was showed up in the press event organised by Micromax to mark its entry in Russia. There is no word on pricing, availability and India launch of the smartphone.
The Canvas Tube comes with an inkling for being media savvy. Micromax is going to pre-load IVI.ru app (only in Russia) on the Tube A118R, which will help device connect easily to media.
Specifications-wise, the Canvas Tube comes with a 5.5-inch IPS display, probably HD (1280x720p resolution), 1.2GHz quad-core processor, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, 32GB expandable memory using microSD card and 2,300 mAh battery.
No word on RAM and internal memory yet.
