Micromax has officially launched a new mid-range Android phablet in India today. Dubbed as Micromax Canvas XL, the smartphone sports a 6-inch display and comes in only white colour. Micromax has launched the Canvas XL in India for Rs. 13,990. This is the first phablet from Micromax with a 6-inch display.
According to Micromax, the smartphone will be available for purchase exclusively from HomeShop18 beginning January 19th from 10AM on-wards. HomeShop18 will be offering freebies worth Rs. 5,498 and gift card worth Rs. 1,000 with the smartphone.
Specifications-wise, the Canvas XL comes with a 6-inch qHD display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The phablet also comes with dual-SIM support with dual standby feature and is 10.4 mm thick weighing 180 grams.
Other specifications include 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 5MP front facing camera, 4GB internal storage with expandable up to 32GB using microSD card and 2,450 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth with A2DP and GPS.
