Oppo has officially unveiled a new mid-range Android smartphone in Indonesia. Dubbed as Oppo Neo, the smartphone comes in two colours, black and white and is priced at 2,599,000 Indonesian Rupiah ($215 or Rs. 13,230). According to Oppo, the Neo will go on sale in Indonesia soon, no word on global roll out yet.
On the specifications front, the Oppo Neo comes with a 4.5-inch IPS FWVGA display which is capable of detecting touches even when you are wearing gloves, 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Oppo's ColorOS skin on top.
Other specifications include dual-SIM support, 5MP AF rear camera, 2MP front facing camera, 4GB internal storage with up to 32GB expandable using microSD card and 1,900 mAh battery. Connectivity series include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, 3G HSPA+ support and GPS.
Feature-wise, the smartphone comes with Quick Reach feature, which is Oppo's gesture-based feature that lets you draw a pattern on the screen and double tap on the display to trigger apps quickly.
