Samsung officially announces Galaxy Tab 3 Lite with 7-inch display, dual-core processor and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean

Samsung has officially announced the long rumoured Galaxy Tab 3 Lite today via a press release. The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite is reported to be the cheapest Galaxy tablet Samsung has ever made. The tablet comes in usual colours, black and white. Specifications of Tab 3 Lite are decent, no word on pricing and availability details yet.

Samsung has officially announced the long rumoured Galaxy Tab 3 Lite today via a press release. The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite is reported to be the cheapest Galaxy tablet Samsung has ever made. The tablet comes in usual colours, black and white. Specifications of Tab 3 Lite are decent, no word on pricing and availability details yet.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite

The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite comes with a 7-inch WSVGA (1024x600p resolution) display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor (chipset unknown), 1GB RAM and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The tablet is 9.7mm thick and weighs 310 grams (Wi-Fi version). 

Other specifications include, 2MP rear camera, 8GB internal storage with up to 32GB microSD card support and 3,600 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 and GPS + GLONASS receiver.

Samsung's press release notes that the tablet will be offered globally, no mention of dates.
