Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 and Galaxy Gear 2 to make a debut at MWC 2014

Word is that Samsung is all set to introduce the Galaxy Tab 4 at the forthcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) to be held next week. Along with the 3 versions of the Galaxy Tab 4, Samsung is also going to launch its next generation smartwatch at the MWC – Samsung Galaxy Gear 2.

The specifications and features of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 were recently leaked over internet. This is perhaps an indication of the soon-to-come official unveiling and launch of this device. Word is that Samsung is all set to introduce the Galaxy Tab 4 at the forthcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) to be held next week. Along with the 3 versions of the Galaxy Tab 4, Samsung is also going to launch its next generation smartwatch at the MWC – Samsung Galaxy Gear 2.

Talking about the Galaxy Tab 4 first, according to the leaked details concerning the hardware, the Tab 4 will be available in three versions. The display sizes of the tablets will remain similar to that in the Galaxy Tab 3 series – 7.0, 8.0 and 10.1. The three versions of Galaxy Tab 4 will be powered by quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz and are expected to feature TFT displays of the modest 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. 

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 series, like the top-end Galaxy Tab Pro series, is likely to come with a mix of Exynos and Qualcomm hardware. All new slates will come pre-installed with Samsung Hub Service, Hancom Office (Tab 4 7.0 excluded), E-Meeting, WebEx and Remote PC. Coming to Galaxy Gear 2 now, as revealed by certain sources Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 will flaunt a completely redesigned look. It is expected to carry a flexible OLED screen. The company has made this smartwatch more functional and is planning to add a more reasonable price tag to it.

Samsung is planning to concentrate on all 3 categories at the Mobile World Congress, i.e. smartphones, tablets as well as wearable gadgets. In the smartphone segment, Samsung will be introducing its Galaxy S5 device along with some mid-ranged smartphones. The company is all set to leave a good impression with some really impressive, interesting and eye-appealing line up.
