Sony is working on giving its mid-range smartphone segment a boost these days and is preparing quite a few devices to do the talking for it. Sony's D5103 device that had leaked last week has now given a look at its specs. It will get a 5.2-inch display which will be a 720p (HD) unit and the smartphone will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8226 chipset which will feature a 1.4GHz quad-core processor and Adreno 305 GPU.
The smartphone will be running the latest version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat and will get an 8MP camera at the rear and a 1.3MP camera up front. The internal storage capacity of the device will stand at 8GB and you will get a 1GB RAM to aid multitasking. Sony Xperia G which has recently leaked had somewhat similar specs but had a 4.8-inch screen instead.
The smartphone will come shod with NFC in addition to Wi-Fi and 3G to take care of the connectivity department. That is all of what is known about the smartphone and there is no image of the device that has been leaked. MWC is here and Sony might just take this as an opportunity to launch the mid-ranger alongside many others to give the company a strong footing in the mid-range segment.
