Sony has silently started selling its mid-range 6-inch Android phablet in India starting today. Dubbed as Sony Xperia T2 Ultra, the phablet was originally announced in January 2014 and is now available from online retailer Saholic for Rs. 32,000. The Xperia T2 Ultra comes in three colours black, white and purple. Official launch expected to happen soon.
Specifications-wise, the Xperia T2 Ultra comes with a 6-inch HD TRILUMINOS display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 and X-Reality for mobile, 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8928 processor, 1GB RAM and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
The phablet measures 165.2 x 83.8 x 7.65 mm and weighs 172 grams. Other specifications include 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 1.1MP front facing camera, 8GB internal storage with up to 32GB microSD card support and 3,000 mAh battery.
Connectivity series include LTE support, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, MHL, NFC, USB 2.0, aGPS and GLONASS. Sony has coupled Xperia T2 Ultra with new smart social camera, which comes with many camera add-ons like Portrait Retouch, Collage, Background defocus, Timeshift burst and Sweep Panorama.
