LG G2 Mini, the compact version of LG G2 was originally announced last month. The company, that time did not spread light on when the smartphone will be available. Now, LG has officially announced that the G2 Mini will be available globally starting next month with CIS countries followed by Europe, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa. Pricing details will be announced locally in the weeks ahead.
LG G2 Mini comes in four vibrant colour options including Titan Black, Lunar White, Red and Gold, depending on the region.
The smartphone comes pre-loaded with Knock Code feature, which enables users to power on and unlock the smartphones in one easy step by tapping a personalized “knock” pattern. Other software features include Capture Plus, Guest Mode, Clip Tray, Quick Window, Plug & Pop and more.
Specifications-wise, the G2 Mini comes with a 4.7-inch qHD IPS display, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 or 1.7GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 4i processor (Latin America LTE version), 1GB RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat with LG's customized Optimus UI on top. The G2 Mini is 9.8mm thick and weighs 121 grams.
Other specifications include a 8MP rear camera (13MP for LATAM LTE verzion) with LED flash, 1.3MP front facing camera, 8GB internal memory with expandable using microSD card and 2,440 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G support, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS and NFC (4G LTE version only).
