HTC has silently launched a new Desire series smartphone in India today. Dubbed as HTC Desire 310, the smartphone was originally announced in China earlier this month. The Desire 310 is a mid-range Android smartphone and comes in three colours which include White, Blue and Red. HTC has priced the Desire 310 at Rs. 11,700, but the smartphone is available from Snapdeal for Rs. 11,460.
Specifications-wise, HTC Desire 310 comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS (480 x 854 pixels) display, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor, 512MB RAM, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and dual-SIM support. The smartphone measures 31.44 x 68.03 x 11.25 mm and weighs about 140 grams.
Other specifications include, 5MP rear camera, 0.3MP (VGA) front facing camera, 4GB internal storage with expandable up to 32GB using microSD card and 2,000 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX, GPS and MHL. The smartphone also features HTC BlinkFeed and HTC Video Highlights.
