Oppo Find 7 might come with a 50MP camera, Full HD and Quad HD variants confirmed by Oppo itself
Oppo will be launching the Find 7 on March 19th. It has already teased the device before and it will come in two versions. One will have a 5.5-inch Quad-HD screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and the other one will come shod with a 5-inch Full HD screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (recently confirmed by Oppo itself on Twitter). However, an interesting detail about the smartphone has just leaked which makes things pretty interesting.
The Find 7 is expected to come with a camera resolution of 50MP which will be a class leading unit and will lock horns directly with Pureview 41MP camera of the Lumia 1020. A picture clicked (below) with the smartphone has just leaked on to interweb. An image uploaded of Weibo which has a resolution of 8160 x 6120 pixels has its EXIF data mentioning name of the camera as Oppo Find 7.
The image has a top notch quality and it comes with a high level of detailing along with very less amount of noise but with a decent amount of purple fringing. When the image was resized to 8MP, it looked way better suggesting the fact that it will be using the oversampling like the Lumia 1020. The smartphone is due for a launch on March 19th at an event in Beijing.
Other rumoured specs of the smartphone include a Snapdragon 801 processor under the hood coupled with a 2GB/3GB RAM and that is pretty much of what is known. Oppo Find 7, if comes with a 50MP camera will put it way ahead of other OEMs by a wide margin in terms of imaging. Amidst the flow of smartphones which is increasing each day, it is hard to create a niche but Oppo might just create one for itself with the Find 7 later this month. Let us wait and watch.
