Alongside unveiling the HTC One (M8) flagship smartphone, HTC announced the Sense 6.0 UI. It has been confirmed that the vendor will launch four HTC Sense applications on the Google Play Store and they are BlinkFeed, Gallery, Sense TV and Service Pack. Now, it is time to talk about the Sense 6.0 update for HTC smartphones that were launched earlier.

HTC One (M8)

Obviously, the most suitable devices to receive the Sense 6.0 UI is the 2013 flagship line-up from HTC. As per @LlabTooFeR, the Sense 6.0 update will be rolled out for unlocked HTC One (2013) aka HTC One (M7) in May or June this year, followed by One Dual-SIM, One Max, One Mini and Butterfly S in June or July.

Given that these phones already run on Android 4.4 KitKat, the update will only upgrade the custom software of HTC. The timeline also reveals that the HTC Butterfly and the Desire 601 could get Android 4.4.2 KitKat + Sense 5.5 update in March-April, and the Desire 700 could get the same in April-May.

As per the reports, the enhancements in the Sense 6.0 update have been tipped and they point out to gesture features to activate the device and the improvements to the stock applications. It is said that the camera app will also witness a few tweaks.
