LAVA has launched a new budget Android smartphone in India today. Dubbed as LAVA Iris 406Q, the smartphone was first spotted on company's official website and yesterday it was available for pre-order on Flipkart for Rs. 6,999. The Iris 406Q comes in black and white colours and is priced at Rs. 7,499. According to LAVA, the smartphone will be available across India starting next week.
Specifications-wise, LAVA Iris 406Q comes with a 4-inch WVGA display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean (upgradable to Android 4.4 KitKat) and dual-SIM support (WCDMA+GSM) with Dual Standby feature.
The smartphone also comes with a 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 0.3MP (VGA) front facing camera, 4GB internal storage with expandable up to 32GB using microSD card and 1,700 mAh battery.
Connectivity series include 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy (LE), GPS, and USB 2.0. The Iris 406Q is 10.3mm thick.
