Samsung Galaxy Golden price slashed by Rs. 20,000 in India, now retailing for Rs. 29,999
Samsung launched the Galaxy Golden, an Android powered flip phone in India last year in October. The Korean giant launched the phone in India with a hefty price tag of Rs. 51,900. At this price tag, the smartphone was not everyone's cup of tea, alias not worth at all. Now, it looks like Samsung has learned from this mistake, and after five months of initial launch, Samsung has today reduced the price of Galaxy Golden in India.
Samsung Galaxy Golden is now available for purchase from Flipkart, India's largest e-retailer for Rs. 29,999, which is ~ Rs. 20,000 less than the earlier price.
To remind you, Samsung Galaxy Golden features two 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED displays, 3x4 numeric keypad for typing, 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 1.5GB RAM, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Samsung TouchWiz UI.
The Galaxy Golden also comes with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 1.9MP front facing camera, 16GB internal storage with 32GB expandable using microSD card, 1,820 mAh battery and 3G connectivity. The smartphone is 15.8mm thick and weighs 179 grams.
