Samsung's senior vice president Yoon Han-kil had recently said that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 would come with a new form factor and the latest reports which have emerged regarding the same can surely raise a few eyebrows. As per the latest word on the street, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will come to market with a flexible "YOUM" display screen. It won’t be like the Galaxy Round either but will surely be something new.

The other new characteristic of the screen may end up being significantly all the more interesting and by that we mean that it may be a three-sided display or a “rolled edge” display. This news dates back to January when such news came up but it was about a foldable Galaxy Note 5 due for a 2015 launch. But the rumour might turn to reality sooner than we expect to.

Samsung had documented a patent provision for a wraparound screen last year in November, which takes after the same ideas as the three-sided display and we believe that it could surely be the next big thing in the phablet arena. It would give rise to virtual buttons and who knows your keys like volume, power/lock and camera might get integrated into it.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is the device that is anticipated quite a lot, more so because Samsung hasn’t created a wonder in the smartphone arena for a while now. So let us wait and watch what Samsung has in store for us. A three sided display seems a distant reality but we aren’t expecting a launch tomorrow either.

In related to the news, Samsung has recently filed a new patent application which suggests the possible design of the Galaxy Note 4. The patent application shows a concept of the device whose edges folds all the way to the back.
