Samsung announced the Galaxy S5 back in February at MWC 2014 in Barcelona. The smartphone was expected to sport extreme high-end specs including Quad-HD display, but Galaxy S5 turned out as a small upgrade over its predecessor. It looks like Samsung is still in the race, and a new Samsung smartphone has popped up on GFXBench listing, which reveals those extreme high-end specs, Quad-HD display too.

Samsung

Listed as Samsung SM-G906S, the smartphone seems to stands above the Galaxy S5's (SM-G900_). This matches with earlier rumours of Samsung planning to release a premium line of devices, dubbed as Galaxy F series.

According to GFXBench listing (which is removed now), the Samsung SM-G906S features a 5.2-inch Quad-HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) display, 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, Adreno 420 GPU, 3GB RAM and Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

Other specifications listed include a 16MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera and 32GB internal storage. Looking at the specs sheet, it is quite confirmed that Samsung is working on a new premium line up, which will be released soon, hopefully in a month or two. Till then, it's up to you, if you wanna wait for this smartphone to get released or buy the Galaxy S5.
