LG has officially announced that it will roll-out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for G3 starting this week. The update will be rolled out first in Poland followed by other key markets.

Manufacturers such as Motorola, HTC and Sony have announced the roll-out plan of the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for their high end offerings, soon after the commercial release by Google. As reported, LG earlier today at an event in Mumbai has officially announced the launch of its flagship smartphone the LG G3 in the Indian market. LG G3 was originally announced back in May and comes with top-tier specifications and features. LG is about to begin the global rollout of its most powerful handset ever, the LG G3 which was launched last month with Quad HD display. The rollout of the smartphone will begin starting June 27th with Asian countries. As LG readies itself up to launch the next flagship LG G3 on May 27th, it is finding it increasingly difficult to keep the smartphone under the wraps and the smartphone has just been leaked in live pictures. LG seems to be having a dream run in the smartphone sales department as its global sales have surged and it is witnessing some really high amounts of profits. In the quarter ending March 2014, it managed to ship 12.3 million smartphones out of which 5 million were LTE enabled devices which is quite impressive. The smartphone shipments in Q1 2014 have increased by 19 percent when compared to the same period of last year.
