LG has been making rounds in gossips as the firm will announce its flagship smartphone LG G3 on May 27th. Also, it was tipped to be working on a Japan specific model called LG Isai FL. Now, the latter has become official and as rumored it is exclusive to KDDI Japan. The handset is on par with other flagship models that have already hit the stores as it comes with high-end specs, water resistant build bearing an IP certification and buttons at the back like in G2.
The LG Isai FL takes the screen resolution to the highest possible level by shooting it up to 5.5-inch Quad HD display that translates to a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and an eye-popping 538 ppi pixel density. Another highlight is that the handset incorporates the new Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AC SoC that packs a quad-core Krait 400 processor, Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM, instead of 3GB.
Interestingly, this processor delivers enough power that allows 4K video recording possible with the 13MP primary camera that comes with LED flash coupled with a 1.3MP front facer.
The LG Isai FL runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat as rumored earlier and features 32GB of native storage space that can of course be expanded with the help of a microSD card. To stay connected to the network, the handset features LTE Advanced, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and IR blaster and it comes with a 3,000 mAh battery under the hood.
The LG Isai FL comes in three colours White, Blue and Pink and will be available across Japan through KDDI starting from July-end. There is no word on pricing details yet.
