Motorola is back in the smartphone game with its latest crop of smartphones and it surely is doing pretty well too. After launching the Moto E, Moto G with 4G LTE and expandable storage, Motorola has announced a limited edition of the Moto G in Mexico in partnership with Ferrari. The smartphone is dubbed as Moto G Ferrari Edition.
The smartphone comes with a Kevlar back with a dotted finish and a Ferrari logo at the back with a Ferrari moniker making its way on to the front of the device. You also get a red speaker grille up front to mark the Ferrari edition. It has been announced at a price of $388 (4,999 Mexican Peso) which is almost double of what a standard 16GB model costs.
Moto G Ferrari Edition comes with the same specs as a normal edition. It gets a 4.5-inch HD display, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with a 1GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
Internal storage capacity stands at 16GB which is non-expandable. At the back of the Moto G Ferrari Edition is a 5MP camera with a LED flash and the front of the device gets a 1.3MP camera for selfies and video calling. Battery capacity include 2,070 mAh of juice.
There is no word on global availability or global roll out of the limited edition smartphone for the time being but we expect to hear about an official announcement soon.
