After getting spotted on TENAA and in a brochure last month, Samsung earlier this month has officially launched the Samsung Galaxy W in South Korea. The Galaxy W is the biggest smartphone to date with a 7-inch screen size. This huge Samsung smartphone comes with mid-range specifications and will be available in Black, White and Red colours. The Galaxy W will be available from SK telecom for 499,990 Korean Won.
On the specifications front, Samsung Galaxy W comes with a 7-inch HD display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The smartphone also comes with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, 16GB internal storage with expandable up to 64GB using microSD card and 3,200 mAh battery.
The Galaxy W is 8.8mm thick and weights 245 grams and has a leather back. Connectivity series include 4G LTE-A, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. There is no word on will Samsung sell the Galaxy W outside Korea.
