Google has started rolling out a new updated version of Android 4.4.4 KitKat for Nexus 5 today. Called as Android 4.4.4 KitKat Release 2, the update is limited to a few countries of the world, which include India, New Zealand and Australia. The update is rolling out over-the-air and brings minor changes. In Australia the update is released on Telsta and in New Zealand on 2Degrees only.
The update brings the build number KTU84Q and has the official name Android 4.4.4_r2 or kitkat-mr2.2-release. The update is being rolled out in batches, so not everyone might be receiving it. Google has also posted the factory images and binaries of kitkat-mr2.2-release on its developer website.
As per online reports, the update brings a completely new radio image and fixes to network issues. Since the update is limited to the above mentioned countries, you should not try to flash it on your smartphone if you aren't based in those countries.
