Motorola has finally started rolling out the Android 4.4.4 KitKat update for the Moto E, Moto G and Moto X users in India. The update roll out was confirmed by Motorola via Twitter. Motorola has skipped the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update in India and has directly updated the Moto E, G and X to 4.4.4 KitKat.
According to Motorola, the update is currently out for Moto E users in India, Moto G and X users will receive the update in the coming days.
The 4.4.4 KitKat update is rolling out over-the-air. Since the updates are rolled out in batches, not everyone will receive the update notification now. You have to wait for few hours or days for the update to arrive. You can also manually check for the update by going to Settings > About Phone > System Updates.
