Sony Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact screenshots leaked, to come with Snapdragon 801 processor
Few days back, the alleged pictures of Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact were leaked. Sony is known for launching Compact variants of its flagship models, but unlike the mini versions from Samsung, the Compact devices come with similar processors, Android build and primary cameras, while the miniatures come with downgraded specs.
Now, reputed XDA developer DooMLoRD has tweeted the specifications of the upcoming Xperia Z3 Compact. The handset is tipped to arrive with a 4.5-inch display with HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor under its hood paired with Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM. For imaging, the device is suggested to come with a 20.7MP primary snapper that is accompanied by a 2.1MP front-facer.
Besides leaking the specifications, the source has also shared a screenshot of the About screen of the upcoming Compact model and this image reveals that the handset is based on the Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS.
Following this, a screenshot of the Xperia Z3 got leaked and it’s About screen showed the model number D6653. The screenshot confirms that the handset will not feature a Quad HD display and will indeed come with Snapdragon 801 chipset. The screenshot also reveals that the phone runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
Analysing the launch pattern of Sony, the alleged devices are believed to be launched sometime in August or September.
