The miniature variant of LG G3, the company’s flagship phone was subjected to a numerous rumors since quite sometime. Now, it is reported that photographs of the LG G3 Mini meant for China Mobile known as LG G3 Beat are revealed. The handset was showcased at the Tianyi Mobile Phone Trade Exhibition held in China.
The LG G3 Beat appears like the shrunk down version of LG G3 with downgraded specifications. The device is claimed to have the model number LG-D729 and feature a 5-inch HD display boasting a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Further, it is said to be stuffed with a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded further with a microSD card.
An 8MP primary camera is claimed to be included at the rear of the LG G3 Beat with Laser Auto Focus and 2MP front snapper for video valling. The device is running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with LG's newly customized Optimus UI on top. Other features on-board include 4G LTE connectivity (TDD-LTE and FDD-LTE) and a 2,540 mAh battery.
The LG G3 Beat is expected to cost around 2,500 yuan (approx. Rs. 24,200). The release date of the device is yet to be announced, but it is said to happen sometime in mid-July.
