It has become a ritual of sorts these days where the launch of a flagship smartphone is followed by a smaller version of the same (popularly known as Mini) which has the same design philosophy but comes with a mid-range set of specs. The latest Mini to be launched was the HTC One Mini 2 and it looks like that it will soon be joined by the Mini version of the LG G3 which has just been found on an Indian website that tracks imports into the country.

LG G3

The LG G3 Mini has touched down on our shores for testing and the specifications are focussed towards the lower mid-range. It will come with a 4.5-inch display which will have a resolution of 720p in all likelihood. At its heart will be a 1.2GHz quad-core processor (chipset unknown). The internal storage capacity will be 8GB, at the back will be a 5MP camera and powering the smartphone will be a 2,100 mAh battery.

Those are the specs that have been listed and the import price has been listed as Rs. 13,501 so expect it to be a sub Rs. 20,000 device post it gets launched in the country. The smartphone is closely matched with Moto G in terms of specifications but the pricing would be slightly premium.

No more details about the smartphone are available as of now but we will update you as soon as we get more of them.
