Samsung has officially launched a new mid-range Android smartphone in the Indian market recently. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Core 2, the smartphone was originally announced earlier this month along with Galaxy Ace 4, Young 2 and Star 2 smartphones. The Galaxy Core 2 comes in black and white colours and is priced at Rs. 11,900.
On the specifications front, Samsung Galaxy Core 2 comes with a 4.5-inch WVGA TFT display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 768MB RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat. The smartphone is 9.8 mm thick and weights 138 grams.
Other specifications include an 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 0.3MP (VGA) front facing camera, 4GB internal storage with expandable upto 64GB using microSD card and 2,000 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G HSPA+, WiFi b/g/n 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS + GLONASS.
