Sony had already stated that it is thinking of speeding up the process of launching new flagship phones and it looks like the work on the same in already underway. Today we have for you the spyshots of the next Sony flagship and its mini version. The Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact have been leaked in a couple of spyshots and it looks like that the hit and a miss strategy of fastening the product cycle is something we are bound to see in future Sony devices too.
The duo that has been leaked is expected to be launched at the IFA 2014 in September or post that. Both the smartphone will see a decrease in the amount of bezels and will come with some pretty thin bezels on the sides. However, we can’t say the same about the ones on the top and bottom. We may not see a Xperia Z2 Compact as the Z1 Compact was launched just a month prior to the launch of the Xperia Z2.
Information about their specifications is yet unknown but we are sure that these will feature top of the line specifications. The Xperia Z3 might just be Sony’s first device with a Quad HD screen and a Snapdragon 810 processor, though Sony might plonk in a Snapdragon 805 SoC instead of it too.
Like the predecessors, they will also be IP67 certified. The images have been leaked from China, a market which is known for its knock-off's too, so take the news with a pinch of salt before jumping to any conclusions.
