Sony Xperia A2 surfaces in leaked NTT DoCoMo brochure, Xperia A successor or Xperia Z2 Compact?

At the Mobile World Congress2014, Sony unleashed its current flagship smartphone – Xperia Z2. Since the launch of this phone, the firm has been making rounds in rumors regarding its mini variant, the Xperia Z2 Compact. But, latest media reports suggest that the handset will be launched in the native market, Japan with the moniker Xperia A2.

It is a trend for the manufacturers to announce miniature versions of their flagship models with downgraded specs. But, Sony did a wonderful job by making the Xperia Z1 Compact without shrinking too much on the specs front. With the launch of this year's flagship model – Xperia Z2, there is no big surprise that Sony will be announcing the Xperia Z2 Compact soon.
