Samsung has started rolling out the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo in India. The update was rolled out to the Korean variant more than four months ago, and finally Samsung has begin updating the international model of the Note 3 Neo. The update is rolling out over-the-air (OTA) and also via Samsung Kies application.
The update weights in at 495.61MB in size. The update is rolling out in batches, so it might take some time to reach your smartphone. You can manually check for the update by going to Settings > About Phone > Software Update.
The update brings Android 4.4.2 KitKat along with Project Svelte optimizations, updated Hangouts with SMS/MMS support, wireless printing support, immersive mode, colour emoji support, improved closed captioning support, stronger security, transparent status bar and more.
TouchWiz wise, the update brings white status bar icons, camera shortcut on the lock screen, music album art on the lock screen and better keyboard layout.
