In July, OnePlus confirmed via an official blog post that the firm will be launching its operations in India soon. Now, the firm has once again confirmed in an official statement that they have started to process the commencement of operations in the country. The firm has posted a job listing looking out for a General Manager to handle the Indian operations.
Both these blog posts were addressing the OnePlus fans in India who are eagerly waiting to have their hands on the much acclaimed OnePlus One smartphone. This listing shows how serious the firm is when it comes to launching its flagship model in the country.
The job listing reads, “We’ve seen tremendous interest from India in the OnePlus One, but to enter the market we’ll need the help of a local visionary. You will be the sun, the light that leads OnePlus into the Indian market; the center of orbit for all projects, operations, and service; the ambassador that spreads the OnePlus brand across India like a wildfire.”
Detailing on the specifications of the OnePlus One smartphone, the handset boasts of a 5.5-inch Full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 scratch resistant coating, 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM and Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
The handset features 16GB and 64GB of internal storage space and packs a 13MP main camera sensor with dual LED flash and 4K video recording capability. Also, there is a front-facing 5MP camera onboard that can capture self portrait shots and help in video conferencing. Other goodies on-board the OnePlus One include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC and a 3,100 mAh battery.
