As expected, Flipkart on Wednesday announced the launch of five new DigiFlip Pro Android tablets in the Indian market. Dubbed as Flipkart DigiFlip Pro ET701, XT811, XT801, XT911 and XT901, all the tablets are powered by Intel Atom processor and will join the already available DigiFlip Pro XT712 tablet. The DigiFlip Pro ET701 comes in Pearl White, Blue, Gray and Red colours, whereas the XT801/XT811 comes in Blue colour and the XT901/XT911 comes in White colour only.
Flipkart has priced the DigiFlip Pro ET701 at Rs. 5,999, while the XT811 and XT801 will retail for Rs. 10,999 and Rs. 8,999 respectively and lastly the XT911 and XT901 is priced at Rs. 15,999 and Rs. 13,999 respectively. All five tablets are already available from Flipkart for purchase.
Flipkart is bundling the tablets with free wired headset worth Rs. 1099, free DigiFlip book case, flat 70% off on 1-year subscription of any digital magazine from the India Today Group and get one issue of Reader's Digest India for free, flat discount of 35% on shopping via the Myntra Mobile App, extra discounts worth Rs. 3000 when shopping from this device and free 15 best-selling eBooks worth over Rs 1700.
All five tablets runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, but Flipkart has confirmed that it will be rolling out the Android 4.4 KitKat update soon, exact time-frame is not yet revealed. Also, the XT801 and XT 901 are the WiFi only variants of XT811 and XT911 respectively.
On the specifications front, the DigiFlip Pro ET701 comes with a 7.0-inch IPS display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor, PowerVR SGX 544MP2 GPU, 1GB RAM, 2MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera, 8GB internal storage with microSD card support and 2,800 mAh battery. The tablet is 9.1mm thick and weights 273 grams.
On the other hand, the DigiFlip Pro XT811/XT801 comes with a 8.0-inch HD IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, 2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2580 processor, PowerVR SGX 544MP2 GPU, 1GB RAM, 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 16GB internal storage with microSD card support and 4,200 mAh battery. The tablet is 8.2mm thick and weights 365 grams (XT801) / 375 grams (XT811).
Lastly, the DigiFlip Pro XT911/XT901 comes with a 8.9-inch Full HD IPS display with resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, 2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2580 processor, PowerVR SGX 544MP2 GPU, 2GB RAM, 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 16GB internal storage with microSD card support and 6,500 mAh battery. The tablet is 8.5mm thick and weights 375 grams (XT901) / 383 grams (XT911).
