HTC Desire 510 with 4.7-inch display, Snapdragon 410 processor, Android 4.4 KitKat officially announced
HTC has officially announced a new mid-range Android smartphone before the IFA 2014 tradeshow. Dubbed as HTC Desire 510, the smartphone comes with mid-range specs and 4G LTE connectivity. The Desire 510 comes in Terra White and Meridian Grey colours and will be available in Europe, Asia and select carries in the United States soon.There is no word on pricing details yet, but the smartphone is said to be highly affordable.
On the specifications front, HTC Desire 510 comes with a 4.7-inch FWVGA display with resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, Adreno 360 GPU, 1GB RAM and Android 4.4.2 KitKat with HTC Sense UI. The smartphone is 9.99mm thick and weights 158 grams.
Other specifications include an 5MP rear camera, 0.3MP (VGA) front facing camera, 8GB internal storage with expandable using microSD card and 2,100 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS + GLONASS and DLNA.
