LG launched its flagship Android smartphone the LG G3 in the county earlier this year in July. Now, the vendor is ready to launch the miniature variant of the G3 in the Indian market. Dubbed as LG G3 Beat, the smartphone is now available for pre-order from online retailer Infibeam. The G3 Beat comes in a slew of color options which include Metallic Black, Silk White and Shine Gold and is priced at Rs. 24,999.
According to Infibeam, the G3 Beat will be available starting September 13th, meaning that official launch is around the corner.
In terms of technical specifications, the miniature variant of G3 features a 5-inch HD IPS display with screen-to-body ratio of 74.1%. Powering the device from within is a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, Adreno 305 GPU coupled with 1GB of RAM and Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. The smartphone is 10.3mm thick and weights 134 grams.
Also on-board is 8GB of internal storage capacity along with microSD card for expandable storage support. For imaging, the LG G3 Beat features an 8MP rear camera that has Laser Auto Focus and LED flash and a 1.3MP front facing snapper.
The G3 Beat draws its energy from a 2,540 mAh battery that can deliver a decent backup for the mid-ranger. Besides these aspects, the handset arrives with connectivity traits such as 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, USB 2.0 and A-GPS.
