China based Oppo is in the tech headlines lately as the vendor came up with couple of teasers suggesting the unveiling of its upcoming camera centric smartphone – Oppo N3. Early this week, the manufacturer has revealed the third teaser declaring the launch of the N3 at an event in Singapore next month. Now, the company has started sending out press invites for attending an event on October 29th, where it will be unveiling the N3.
In a different report, GSMArena and SoyaCincau has managed to get the press renders of the Oppo N3 that suggest the trademark rotating camera feature of the N lineup. This indicates that like the N1, the N3 will also be able to click selfies using the primary camera without any compromise on the quality.
Talking about the GSMArena leaked press render first (above), it shows a cylindrical wired camera module with dual-LED flash. The device appears to be thinner and lighter than its predecessor with metallic design. The N1 has a flat design with the thickness being uniform.
On the other-hand, the press image (below) of N3 leaked by SoyaCincau is completely different from the one leaked by GSMArena. The new leak shows the phone having a rotating camera similar to the Oppo N1. Also, the renders suggest the incorporation of a dual LED flash and somekind of sensor, probably a laser auto focus sensor or a depth sensor present in the LG G3 and HTC One (M8) respectively.
There is no way to authenticate the leaked renders, so its better to take both the images with a pinch of salt and wait for more credible leak. Despite receiving the renders, the reports does not claim anything regarding the specifications of the Oppo N3. However, as the official unveiling approaches, we will get to know more about the handset in few weeks.
