As the Nexus 6 has gone official,
its time for Motorola to reveal the availability plans of the device. Nexus 6 is Motorola’s first ever Nexus smartphone that resembles the design of the new Moto X launched in September. Well, the
manufacturer has confirmed that the Nexus 6 smartphone will be released in 28
countries including North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and India by the end of this
year.
The Google Nexus 6 comes in two colours Midnight Blue and Cloud White and two storage options which include 32GB and 64GB variants. Google has priced the 32GB variant of Nexus 6 at $649, while the 64GB variant costs $699.
When it comes to specifications, the Nexus 6 comes with a 5.96-inch Quad HD AMOLED display with resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and pixel density of 493 pixels per inch. The smartphone is powered by a 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, Adreno 420 GPU teamed up with 3 GB of RAM.
As mentioned above, the Nexus 6 arrives in two
configurations – 32GB and 64GB of internal storage options that
cannot be expanded as there is no microSD card slot. The smartphone is given a
13MP rear camera with dual LED Ring flash, 4K video recording,
f/2.0 aperture and optical image stabilization. Also, there is a 2MP front facing camera on-board the Nexus 6.
The device runs on newly introduced Android 5.0 Lollipop and features a
water resistant build, dual front facing speaker and a 3,220 mAh battery. The
connectivity features onboard the Nexus 6 include 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth
4.0 LE, GPS with GLONASS and NFC support along with wireless charging.
